Essentials

Controls on the grid and header bar.

Create step

Click or tap an empty pad to place a hit.

Delete step

Click an active pad to clear it. On the canvas: right-click or Erase.

Add track

Pick an instrument, then press + to add a lane.

Play / Pause

Press Space or the transport button.

Bars & Auto

Jump to a bar, or leave Auto on to follow playback.

Save

Store the pattern with Ctrl+S or Save.

Undo / Redo

Ctrl+Z undoes; Ctrl+Shift+Z redoes.

Clear

Erase all notes on the grid; tracks stay.

New

Start an empty Untitled project.

Subdivision, length, and tools.

Set grid resolution; Snap quantizes, Free allows micro-timing.
